The most recent design was crafted by cosplay and props legend Harrison Krix for the 2015 North American Collegiate Championship. Krix only had 4 weeks to build 9 trophies – starting with the design, which took 7 days to complete.
After finishing the design, Krix and his team went to work using a series of methods. The process included basic hand work, laser carving, and engraving. They used materials such as styrene, acrylic, sintra (a type of PVC board), MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and a large piece of urethane to complete the task.
