Crisis on Infinite Earths, the ongoing 5-installment Arrowverse crossover event, will finally resume on January 14 with the two remaining parts of the game-changing storyline wrapping it all up. Despite the biggies still yet to come, these first three parts of the mega-crossover event have seen so much happening already. Starting with a bunch of amazing DC cameos and appearances to the massive consequences for the Arrowverse as a whole, the writers are making it very clear that this is no joke for their shared universe. With two hours left to air of the crossover, it’s still a mystery of what the DC TV universe will look like on the CW after this storyline concludes. Anyone who thinks the Arrowverse will look the same after January 14 will need to prepare themselves.

Each separate part has had a ton of stuff go down that either freaked fans out or made them nerd out in the best ways. With three episodes having aired already in December, there is a lot to process with Crisis on Infinite Earths already. With Crisis just around the corner waiting to resume the 5-show event, we’re taking a look at each episode that has aired and breakdown the 10 best moments. Disclaimer: this list will include major spoilers from The Flash season 6, episode 9 which is part 3 in the crossover.

Cisco Becomes Vibe Again

In this show’s defense, season 6 had kind of already revealed that Cisco Ramon would somehow be Vibe again by the time the Crisis had arrived. The Monitor needs Cisco to be Vibe again so, being the godlike being that he is, he restores Cisco’s powers against his will. Even though it is understandable that Cisco wasn’t thrilled about it, fans have missed him as Vibe. Besides, if he survives the Crisis, he could just get rid of his powers again.

Iris Connecting With Ryan Choi

A new DC character debut in the crossover as Ryan Choi is the final Paragon left to recruit. While he initially passes on his destiny to spend whatever time is left for Earth-1 with his family, Iris West-Allen becomes the shining light during this episode. As two regular humans with no powers, Iris gets through to Ryan that it’s people like them who the superheroes will always need. We still would have loved if someone had reacted to hearing the name Ryan Choi and realized that he is the one that makes one of Barry’s suits in the future, as revealed last season.

Birds of Prey Cameo

Before they make it to the big screen, the original Birds of Prey got to have some fun with the crossover in part 3. While it’s a brief cameo that ends with their world destroyed, it was still satisfying to get to see Huntress again and also hear Oracle as a surprise cameo. Whatever happened on Earth-203 after the show got canceled will continue to remain a mystery, unless their world somehow gets restored by the end of Crisis.

Lucifer Morningstar To The Rescue

Fans of Lucifer who were hoping that Tom Ellis was lying about not being in the crossover had their wish come true. As Constantine, Mia, and Diggle try to get Oliver’s soul back, they visit Earth-666 where they meet the Devil himself. Establishing that he and Constantine have a past left many viewers wanting more of these Vertigo-based characters together on screen. If he is on Earth-666, does that mean there are multiple versions of the Devil and God, as well as heaven and hell?

Black Lightning’s Arrowverse Debut

After three seasons of waiting, Black Lightning officially became part of the Arrowverse after his Earth got destroyed the previous night. While he was summoned there to help with a big part of the mission, seeing Jefferson finally with his fellow CW/DC heroes was a satisfying reward. As serious as things got for him when Jefferson first arrived, Black Lightning does get a very cute moment later on with the two Supermen.

Barry And Jefferson’s Bonding

One of Jefferson’s interactions in the crossover is with Barry Allen himself. Despite facing the end of the multiverse and not knowing if they would win, the heroes of two worlds still found a way to connect as individuals. Hearing about their respective parents’ tragic deaths, this was a major moment in the crossover as a whole. If this becomes the beginning of a Flash/Black Lightning dynamic, sign us up.

Oliver’s New Destiny

While the gang manages to get in touch with Oliver’s soul, the Emerald Archer had to cancel any plans of leaving Purgatory. Jim Corrigan randomly emerges and explains that it is Oliver’s time to become someone and something else. While not much is shown after he accepts his new destiny, Oliver now has a new title to serve as he has taken on the mantle of the Spectre. However that will look and go down like will be answered in the final two parts of the crossover.

Return Of The Vanishing Point

One of the final moments of the crossover is when Pariah sends several of the remaining heroes to the Vanishing Point, which is a concept that is well-established to Legends of Tomorrow fans. Though not much is explained about what the purpose of being back there, we assume it will play a key part in the final two hours of the crossover. Will time travel stop the Anti-Monitor perhaps?

Lex’s Latest Surprise

Despite having saved Superman of Earth-96 initially, Lex Luthor pulls a major stunt. That version of Clark begins to be replaced literally by Lex as the villain managed to use the Book of Destiny to become the new Paragon. It will be both interesting, hilarious, and nerve-wracking to see how the team will tackle having to fight with Lex.

Earth-90’s Flash Sacrifices Himself

When it comes to the ultimate best moment of the third part of the crossover, that award goes to Flash of Earth-90. John Wesley Shipp gets to come full circle with his version of Barry Allen that he never got an ending to after his show got canceled in the 90s. But his Barry also gets to honor what happens to the Flash in the comic storyline where Barry vanishes in the Crisis. While we might see Shipp again as Jay Garrick down the line, to see the character that he was known as for over 15 years finally get, basically, a series finale, was a major deal.
